Explore the spectacular High Atlas Mountains on a scenic 4x4 adventure from Marrakech. Travel away from the main roads and deep into the mountain valleys, passing through beautiful landscapes and traditional Berber villages along the way. This is a great way to experience the quieter, more rural side of Morocco while enjoying the freedom and comfort of a 4x4 journey.
This trek runs all year round and can depart on any date to suit your plans.

Pick Up & Drop Off
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech city, many riads don't have access via car so the driver will park nearby and come to get you.
You will be dropped off at the nearest point to your riad/hotel. Our driver can call your riad to meet you if needed.

Day 01
Marrakech - Atlas Mountains
Travel from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains by a 4Wheel drive, take a short camel trek or a mule ride, enjoy a little walk through berber villages and have lunch in a local Berber Home in the Atlas Mountains - Pick up will be at 9O'clock from your Riad and the drop will be around 17.h 4x4 Wheel drive through the valleys. Mule ride through berber villages. Camel ride on the Atlas Mountains. Lunch inside a Berber village. Walk through Berber villages. Enjoy a walk in the green Imlil and Toubkal Valley

Equipment
Spend a day exploring the beautiful High Atlas Mountains on a varied excursion from Marrakech, combining a scenic 4x4 journey with camel and mule rides, a gentle walk and a traditional lunch in a Berber home. Discover the lush valleys around Imlil and Toubkal while travelling through remote mountain villages and enjoying spectacular views of the surrounding peaks.
Your day begins with a pick-up from your riad at around 9.00am, followed by a 4x4 drive into the Atlas Mountains. Travel through scenic valleys and traditional Berber villages before enjoying a short mule ride and a camel ride in the mountain landscape. Continue with a leisurely walk through the villages, taking time to appreciate the peaceful surroundings and local way of life.
At lunchtime, enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal in a local Berber home, providing an opportunity to experience the warm hospitality and culture of the Atlas Mountains. Afterwards, continue your exploration with a walk through the green Imlil and Toubkal valleys before beginning the return journey to Marrakech. You should arrive back at your accommodation at around 5.00pm.

Personal baggage, cooking equipment and food are carried by the mules, leaving you to carry only a rucksack with whatever you need close at hand for the day. NB: Left luggage or unnecessary luggage can be left safely in our storage in Imlil till you come back from the trek.
