Day Trip To The Waterfalls
Escape Marrakech for a full-day excursion to the spectacular Ouzoud Waterfalls, one of Morocco’s most impressive natural attractions and a popular day trip from the city. Located around 170km from Marrakech, near the town of Azilal in the Middle Atlas Mountains, the waterfalls are reached after a scenic drive of approximately three hours.
On arrival, explore the beautiful waterfalls on foot and enjoy a walk along the trails surrounding the cascades, taking in views of the falls from different viewpoints. You can also take a traditional local boat across the river or, for those who enjoy walking, follow a longer trail of around two hours towards the source of the Ouzoud cascades.
After exploring the waterfalls, take time to relax and enjoy delicious traditional Moroccan food at one of the local restaurants overlooking the falls. During the summer months, Ouzoud is particularly popular with Moroccan visitors looking to escape the heat of the cities and enjoy the cooler mountain surroundings.

Pick Up & Drop Off
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech city, many riads don't have access via car so the driver will park nearby and come to get you.
You will be dropped off at the nearest point to your riad/hotel. Our driver can call your riad to meet you if needed.
Route Details
Day 01
Marrakech - Atlas Mountains
We’ll collect you from your accommodation in Marrakech and take you into the mountains, with your return transfer arranged once your adventure comes to an end.
Enjoy the journey into the High Atlas and discover the beautiful mountain scenery, traditional Berber villages and peaceful valleys before returning to Marrakech.

Please ensure you have packed all safety essentials. See the Equipment List here if you're unsure of what to bring. Our guides will conduct a final gear check in Imlil before we commence the ascent to the higher altitudes of the Toubkal massif.

Personal baggage, cooking equipment and food are carried by the mules, leaving you to carry only a rucksack with whatever you need close at hand for the day. NB: Left luggage or unnecessary luggage can be left safely in our storage in Imlil till you come back from the trek.
